Job Description
Position Summary:
The teacher will pledge his/her commitment to help the School achieve its mission, goals, and vision; value community; bring a spirit of enthusiasm, energy, and willingness to take thoughtful initiative in a collaborative setting. The teacher should be committed to further the intellectual and personal development of students, inspiring and empowering them to become positive, active global citizens.

Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with a valid teaching certificate/license in content area and/or related field.
- A minimum of two years, of current, full-time related teaching experience.
- Teaching experience in an American curriculum school is preferred.
- IELTS or TOEFL for non-native teachers (6.5 for subjects taught in English & 7.5 for English subjects).
- Experience with current best practices, current teaching materials, and current instructional strategies as well as recent professional growth activities.
Competency Required:
- Commitment to innovation in Teaching and Learning supporting initiatives, with a positive attitude and willingness to promote life-long learning across The School.
- Focused instruction and assessment on student learning.
- Ability to work independently and safeguard confidential information.
- Proficient in IT for productivity purposes and as a tool to facilitate learning in the classroom
- Awareness of current trends and developments in education.
- Commitment to the highest standards of professional practice and to the development of a school culture based on collaboration between principals, teachers, parents and students.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, good interpersonal skills and an ability to work with diverse groups of people.
- Fluency in both spoken and written English.
- Good presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exhibits self-motivation, high work standards and attention to detail.
