Job Description:

Liwa Education is looking to hire an outstanding Social worker to join our team in Liwa International School Al Qattara, Al Ain.

Responsibilities:

To contribute to the well-being of students through close daily supervision of the section in charge of, attempting to resolve any problem in collaboration with teacher/s. If problem persists, the Vice Principal is notified.
To closely monitor students positive as well as negative conduct.
To explain the negative consequences of misbehavior on learning as well as social and psychological development.
To help students adapt well to school environment and values.
To ensure the right communication channels between the school and parents.
To enlighten students and raise their awareness of negative and/or harmful practices such as smoking, drugs, bad company.
To promote students’ self-esteem and self-confidence
To reinforce co-operation among students as well as enthusiasm towards teamwork.
To apply educational principles and practices in carrying out his/her tasks.
