Colegio Ameritec is seeking an energetic, organized, and passionate Sports Coordinator to lead and strengthen our school’s athletic and physical education programs.
The ideal candidate combines a passion for sports with strong leadership and organizational skills, and is committed to creating a positive environment where students can develop teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, and healthy habits.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee the school’s sports and athletic programs.
- Plan and organize practices, tournaments, competitions, and school sporting events.
- Support and supervise coaches and PE teachers to ensure consistency and quality across programs.
- Promote student participation in sports and extracurricular athletic activities.
- Foster teamwork, discipline, leadership, and sportsmanship among students.
- Ensure a safe, structured, and engaging environment for all athletic activities.
- Manage sports schedules, facilities, equipment, and resources.
- Coordinate participation in interschool leagues, tournaments, and competitions.
- Collaborate with school leadership, teachers, families, and external organizations.
- Contribute to building a strong and positive sports culture throughout the school.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Management, Education, or a related field.
- Previous experience in school athletics, coaching, physical education, or sports coordination.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students across different age groups.
- Strong English proficiency.
- Experience coordinating teams, tournaments, or athletic programs is highly desirable.
- Positive, proactive, collaborative, and student-centered approach.
