Job Description

Position: Transportation Coordinator
Location: Stow, Massachusetts, Masters Academy International
Anticipated Start Date: August 1, 2026

Masters Academy International
Masters Academy International (MAI) is New England’s only school that intentionally integrates pro-level coaching and top-tier academics to prepare future leaders, excelling in sport, scholarship, and life. At MAI, athletics are not an extracurricular add-on; they are a core pillar of student identity and future opportunity.

Our student athletes pursue ambitious goals and train with purpose. The athletic program at MAI is designed to develop exceptional competitors while also cultivating the character, habits, and mindset required for long-term success. We believe in doing things the right way: with excellence, integrity, and care for the whole student.

About the Role
Masters Academy International is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to manage the strategic logistics and daily execution of the academy's complex school transportation system. This role oversees daily student routing, specialized transport, and intricate athletic team travel schedules. Blending operational oversight with hands-on execution, the Coordinator ensures strict safety and regulatory compliance while actively serving as a driver when needed.

What You Will Do
As the Transportation Coordinator, you will orchestrate the daily logistics and scheduling for all school transit, including routine student routes and complex athletic team travel. You will balance office-based operations—such as route optimization, safety compliance, and driver scheduling—with hands-on execution, regularly stepping behind the wheel as an active driver to ensure our community moves safely and efficiently.

Who You Are
You are a highly organized, reliable professional with an impeccable driving record who takes pride in safe vehicle operation and strict regulatory compliance. Calm under pressure and deeply analytical, you thrive on solving complex logistical puzzles—like overlapping athletic schedules and multi-tiered routes—and possess the adaptability to pivot logistics on the fly. You work seamlessly with minimal supervision, exercising excellent judgment regarding escalation and discretion while maintaining absolute confidentiality. As a warm, clear communicator, you build trust quickly across the school community and bring a high standard of integrity, detail orientation, and professional conduct to everything you do.

Qualifications
• Education: High School Diploma (or equivalent) required; Bachelors Degree preferred.
• Experience: Proven experience designing, implementing, and optimizing complex logistics, scheduling matrices, or multi-tiered routing systems (such as school transit or multi-sport athletic travel).
• Credentials: Must possess a valid driver's license with an impeccable driving record, demonstrating a history of safe and professional vehicle operation; CDL preferred.
• Expertise: Ability and willingness to manage office-based operational logistics while simultaneously serving as an active, hands-on driver for daily routes and school events.
• Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of federal, state, and local Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, safety standards, and vehicle compliance protocols.

Compensation and Benefits
This is a 10-month role. The salary for this role is $70,000. Benefits for eligible roles include medical, life insurance, a 401(k) savings plan, and more.

Diversity, Inclusion, and Safeguarding
We are deeply committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout our organization. We strive to build a culture in which every colleague feels that they belong, are trusted, and are valued. We welcome applications from candidates of all backgrounds and strongly encourage those from underrepresented groups to apply.
Cognita Schools are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff, volunteers and other third parties to share this commitment. Safer recruitment practice and pre-employment background checks will be undertaken before any appointment is confirmed.

About Masters Academy International

Masters Academy International

688 Great Rd, Stow, MA 01775, USA

For too long, ambitious young people have been forced to choose: pursue excellence in athletics or commit fully to rigorous academics. At Masters Academy International, we reject that false choice.

MAI was founded by brothers Peter and Chris Masters, New England natives and hockey experts with decades of experience developing elite athletes, alongside Academy Director Rich Odell, a seasoned independent school leader and sports education facility developer. We are built on a simple conviction: the skills that make great athletes – discipline, resilience, focus, adaptability – are the same skills that create exceptional students and future leaders.

Opening in September 2026 on an 82-acre campus in Stow, Massachusetts, MAI is New England’s first and only academy to unite pro-level athletic training with top-tier, future-focused academics. We serve Middle School, Upper School and Post Graduate day and boarding students, creating a community where students don’t just balance competing demands – they discover how excellence in one arena fuels excellence in another.
