About AtoZ corporation

A to Z was started in 1987 by founder Hiroko Makinally as an English conversation school, with the desire to help people experience the joy of communicating with foreigners in English. Currently, we have nearly 1,000 students enrolled, and we also support the development of human resources from Nagano Prefecture who will be active on the world stage through language training and seminars at over 100 companies, the dispatch of ALTs (Assistant Language Teachers) from 150 kindergartens to universities in the prefecture, and ICT support projects.

Our mission is to "nurture truly global people." A truly global person is not just someone who can speak English. A truly global person is someone who can contribute to solving international problems and creating innovation as a member of a diverse team, and who can have fun doing so. For Japanese society and companies to continue to grow sustainably, it is essential to nurture many such people who can be active anywhere in the world.

Our mission and joy is to do everything we can to help people who want to learn and grow to achieve their dreams and goals. Inheriting the founder's vision, A to Z will continue to be rooted in the community, enriching the lives of each individual and supporting the continued development of companies in the prefecture, to expand the possibilities for children with a future in this world of great change, and to become a strong company that can compete on the global stage.
