About International School of Hyderabad

Founded in 1981, the International School of Hyderabad is an international IB school that is governed by the International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT). It was the first school in India to receive international accreditation from the Council of International Schools and still holds this accreditation.

The curriculum is taught in English and grades range from Early Years up to Grade 12. Out of 300 students, most are from expat families. Class sizes are also kept small to ensure students receive individual attention and help. Extensive preparation for university is the main focus for ISH, and especially the school’s secondary school students, with many graduates attending top schools across the world.
