Job Description

• Provide students with career and university guidance.

• Support students in identifying academic, career and post-secondary pathways.

• Assist students with university research, applications and career planning.

• Organise university visits, career fairs and related events.

• Maintain up-to-date information on university admissions and career pathways.

• Support students with applications, personal statements and related documentation.

• Work with parents, teachers and school leadership.

• Maintain appropriate student records and confidentiality.

• Support the school's career guidance programme in accordance with ADEK requirements.

School Health and Welfare Staff, University Graduate
Minimum Education:
Bachelor
Teaching Experience:
2+ years
Licenses & Certifications:
Other Certification - DCD License
Additional School Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree (QFE Level 7) in any subject may meet the ADEK minimum pathway for a Career and University Guidance Counselor where the candidate is a former/current teacher or educator.

• Relevant career/university guidance CPD as required by ADEK.

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in education, career guidance, university counselling or student advising.

• Strong knowledge of university admissions and career pathways.

• Excellent communication and counselling skills.

• Relevant professional licensing requirements must be met where applicable.
