About BASIS Bilingual School Guangzhou
Opening in the fall of 2026, BASIS Bilingual School Guangzhou will be the second BASIS school in the city, and the first bilingual campus. The school will be located in Haizhu District, Guangzhou, located in the core area of the city's Artificial Intelligence and Digital Economy Pilot Zone, close to many important areas of business and commerce. BASIS Bilingual School Guangzhou will open with grades kindergarten - 9 and expand to offer courses through Grade 12 with a total capacity of 1,900 students. Facilities will include a lecture hall, library, black box theater, swimming pool, observatory, gymnasiums, laboratories, multifunctional classrooms for arts, music, and innovation as well as other state-of-the-art facilities.
The early childhood classroom is carefully designed to encourage a child's natural curiosity to create, discover, and ask questions. Our Early Childhood teachers adopt a collaborative, co-teaching approach to enhance student engagement and learning opportunities. The Subject Expert Teacher (SET) and Learning Enhancement Teacher (LET) partner to introduce ideas and ensure every student receives deep subject knowledge, personalized support, and appropriate engagement.
As an Early Childhood Subject Expert Teacher, you help cultivate a joyful, rigorous learning environment rich in child-initiated play that inspires students to become enthusiastic, life-long learners. About BASIS International School Guangzhou
The second BASIS International School in China, BASIS International School Guangzhou, opened in August 2017. Almost 400 students in grades Kindergarten - Grade 9 attended the first year, and the school has grown to its capacity of approximately 1,200 students in grades Pre-K - 12. It is also the first BASIS International School to offer a weekday boarding program.
