Job Advert: ECHS DP/AP Global Politics Teacher (Ref 1481)
Position: ECHS DP/AP Global Politics Teacher
Location: Education City High School
Start Date: 01st Aug 2026
We are seeking a dedicated Global Politics Teacher to join our international school community at Education City High School. ECHS serves students from Gr. 9-12 and offers multiple pathways to higher education through the IBDP, IBCP and AP programmes. We offer an open-campus model that leverages partnerships with universities and institutions within Education City and around Qatar to provide unique opportunities to our students in academia and industry.
The successful candidate will inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and a passion for scientific inquiry while delivering engaging lessons aligned across the IB or AP in an international context.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver inquiry-based lessons
- Foster a classroom environment that encourages experimentation, collaboration, and problem-solving.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Contribute to curriculum development and interdisciplinary projects.
- Support extracurricular science activities and initiatives.
- Use a variety of instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs and abilities.
- Assess, document, and report on student progress using formative and summative assessment strategies.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum of 5+ years full-time teaching experience in an international school IB/AP context.
- Full-Time Bachelor’s degree in Global politics/Education, or related field (Master’s degree desirable).
- Teaching certification required.
- Fluent English communication skills are essential.
- Arabic fluency is an added advantage.
- Strong classroom management and ability to engage diverse learners.

- Salary is highly competitive and will be commensurate with qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
