Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and highly skilled Elementary School Counselor to join our school community. The ideal candidate will support students’ academic, social, and emotional development while fostering a safe and nurturing school environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and group counseling for elementary students.
  • Support students’ social‑emotional learning and behavioral development.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student needs.
  • Develop and implement preventative programs and initiatives.
  • Assist with conflict resolution, peer relationships, and student well-being.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records.
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives and contribute to a positive school culture.

Additional School Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in school counseling or a related role working with elementary-aged children.
  • Bilingual: Fluent in both English and Arabic (spoken and written).
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and families.
  • Demonstrated commitment to student well‑being and child safeguarding.
