We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and highly skilled Elementary School Counselor to join our school community. The ideal candidate will support students’ academic, social, and emotional development while fostering a safe and nurturing school environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group counseling for elementary students.
- Support students’ social‑emotional learning and behavioral development.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student needs.
- Develop and implement preventative programs and initiatives.
- Assist with conflict resolution, peer relationships, and student well-being.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives and contribute to a positive school culture.
Subject & Grade Level
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum 7 years of experience in school counseling or a related role working with elementary-aged children.
- Bilingual: Fluent in both English and Arabic (spoken and written).
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and families.
- Demonstrated commitment to student well‑being and child safeguarding.
