About the Role:
As the Head of Assessment, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive assessment strategy that ensures high standards of student achievement. You will work closely with senior leadership, faculty, and the data team to establish evidence-based practices that drive improvement in student attainment. Additionally, you will lead professional development initiatives, equipping educators with the necessary skills to analyze and utilize assessment data effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute an assessment strategy aligned with school objectives and curriculum standards.
- Drive measurable improvements in student attainment, ensuring accountability at all levels.
- Provide leadership and training to teachers on data-driven instruction and assessment best practices.
- Oversee data collection and analysis to inform teaching methodologies and learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders to integrate assessment insights into strategic planning.
- Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in assessment processes.
- Promote a culture of continuous professional development among faculty members.
