Job Description

Canadian School invites education professionals to apply for the position of Junior High Head Teacher, with the purpose of joining an international learning community committed to academic excellence and the holistic development of its students.

Position Purpose

To ensure meaningful learning experiences aligned with the school’s academic program Canadian (Alberta) curriculum, as well as with the school’s formative approach based on the core values of Responsibility, Respect, Empathy, Cooperation, Honesty, and Love, fostering students’ academic, social, and emotional growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement the Canadian (Alberta) curriculum using current, evidence-based instructional strategies.
  • Design and maintain safe, inclusive, and well-structured learning environments that promote student engagement and well-being.
  • Apply student-centered methodologies, including:
    • Inquiry-Based Learning
    • Project-Based Learning
    • Differentiated Instruction
  • Provide ongoing academic and formative follow-up for students in close collaboration with the Psychopedagogical Support Team.
  • Maintain clear, professional, and timely communication with families and academic leadership.
  • Actively participate in planning, assessment, and continuous professional development processes, contributing to a culture of reflection, growth, and educational excellence.

9. Paid vacation periods (December and Easter Break).
