Job Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated KG Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners. This role is essential in shaping foundational skills, fostering curiosity, and creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for early childhood development.

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching & Curriculum Delivery

• Use diverse tools (games, music, art, videos, books, computers) to teach curriculum standards and social skills.
• Implement play-based, hands-on learning methods.
• Teach core subjects, including phonics, number sense, science, and arts.
• Align lesson planning with grade-level standards and objectives.

Student Progress & Assessment

• Monitor student development in academics, collaboration, and critical thinking.
• Prepare and submit lesson plans, student progress reports, and semester evaluations.
• Maintained accurate records of student work in portfolios.

Parental & School Engagement

• Foster strong relationships with parents through digital platforms (e.g., Class Dojo, Instagram).
• Participate in parent-teacher conferences and school-wide events.
• Assist in planning and supervising field trips, assemblies, and competitions.

Classroom & School Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of classroom management, student discipline, and behavior incentives.
• Participate in committees, curriculum development, and accreditation implementation.
• Contribute to classroom displays, annual inventory management, and material ordering.
• Engage in division meetings, collaborative planning, and professional development.

General Expectations

• Ensure students adhere to the English-speaking policy during lessons (except Arabic/Islamic studies).
• Uphold school policies, including uniform and assessment guidelines.
• Cover staff absences when needed and take on additional responsibilities as required.

Reporting & Accountability

• Reports directly to the Division Principal and follows all school policies.
