• Manage and maintain the school library and its resources, including print, digital and multimedia collections.
• Support students and staff in accessing and effectively using library resources.
• Catalogue, classify and organise library materials in accordance with established library standards.
• Promote reading, research and information literacy through library programmes and activities.
• Assist students with research projects and the use of reference materials and digital databases.
• Monitor library circulation, including borrowing, returns and inventory management.
• Recommend and acquire new library resources to support curriculum requirements and student interests.
• Maintain a safe, organised and welcoming library environment.
• Collaborate with teachers to support curriculum delivery and learning outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with school policies and any applicable ADEK requirements.
• Bachelor's Degree (QFE Level 7) in Library Science, Information Science, Education or a related field.
• Professional qualification in Library and Information Science is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a school, academic or public library.
• Knowledge of library management systems, cataloguing and classification practices.
• Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and digital library resources.
• Ability to support students in developing research and information literacy skills.
• Relevant professional licensing requirements must be met where applicable.
