Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons in line with the school curriculum and learning objectives.
- Teach mathematics concepts clearly using appropriate teaching strategies and resources.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs and abilities of all students.
- Prepare lesson plans, learning materials, assessments, and activities.
- Assess and monitor students’ academic progress and provide timely feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and assessment results.
- Support students who require additional academic assistance.
- Encourage students to develop problem-solving, reasoning, and critical-thinking skills.
- Establish and maintain a positive, respectful, and well-managed classroom environment.
- Use technology and appropriate educational resources to enhance learning.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding students’ progress and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues, Heads of Department, and school leadership.
- Participate in department meetings, professional development, school events, and other assigned activities.
- Follow all school policies, procedures, safeguarding requirements, and professional standards.
