Job Description
Responsibilities Overview:
- Follow the format and expectations provided by SPAS to create a syllabus, unit plans, rubrics, and weekly lesson plans for students
- Plan regular and consistent homework assignments and provide feedback/corrections
- Create tests and projects to measure and ensure student learning
- Prepare progress reports and report cards at the end of each term
- Attend and participate in faculty and staff meetings
- Take part in PTCs (Parent-Teacher Conferences) and speak/discuss with parents regarding their children
- Attend official SPAS functions as outlined on the calendar

Our hired candidate will be placed into two PLCs - Math and Science - and benefit from the experience of the veteran teachers in those departments while contributing new ideas and new energy. This role will factor into the future growth of the Bundang STEM program - our ideal candidate will not only have ideas that will benefit the program but also experience contributing to similar programs in the past, not simply maintaining them.

Job Requirements
Role Requirements:
- Visa/Status: F visa holders or Korean Citizens
- Apostilled Diploma and Criminal Background Check (if applicable)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in science or STEM education
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Education, Mathematics, or degrees related to STEM

- A letter of instruction (preferred) specific to the role & to outline the strengths of your candidacy
