Job Description
The Middle School Science Teacher delivers engaging, inquiry-based instruction aligned with NGSS and Common core US curriculum standards. The role focuses on developing students’ scientific thinking, curiosity, and problem-solving skills in a supportive and safe learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver standards-aligned middle school science lessons
- Teach integrated science concepts (life, physical, and earth sciences)
- Implement hands-on investigations, labs, and inquiry-based activities
- Assess and monitor student progress using formative and summative tools
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
- Promote critical thinking, collaboration, and scientific literacy
- Maintain a safe classroom and laboratory environment
- Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues
- Support school initiatives and extracurricular activities as required
