Job Description
MYP Design Teacher – Secondary School
Miras International School Almaty is seeking an enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed teacher to join
our Secondary School faculty as an IBMYP Design with Homeroom Advisor responsibilities. This position
has the potential of expanding into an IB Computer Science position as well the following school year.
Key Requirements:
- Teaching degree (Bachelor’s/Master’s) in a related field.
- Minimum three years of teaching experience in international schools.
- Strong understanding of differentiation strategies, pedagogy, and child psychology.
- Ability to effectively manage the learning and teaching process for diverse student needs.
- Passionate about creative and innovative learning approaches, including 21st-century learning environments.
- Experience working with EAL students is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent IT skills and interpersonal communication to collaborate with staff, students, and parents.
