Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Primary School Teacher located in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. We are seeking an experienced, caring, and creative educator to join our Primary School team.

The teacher will be responsible for delivering an engaging and developmentally appropriate curriculum that builds foundational literacy, numeracy, inquiry skills, and a love of learning. Candidates should be able to create interactive, student-centered lessons, support social-emotional development, communicate effectively with young learners, and work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Primary Education, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a closely related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a primary/elementary school setting (ages 5–11).
  • Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate pedagogy.
  • Experience with international curricula preferred (IB PYP, Cambridge Primary, American Common Core, or other inquiry-based programs).
  • Ability to design engaging, hands-on lessons that foster literacy, numeracy, creativity, and inquiry skills.
  • Excellent classroom management and the ability to support diverse learning needs.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to effectively use educational technology, digital platforms, and modern teaching tools.
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to work closely with colleagues, parents, and school leadership.
  • Commitment to professional ethics, student well-being, and creating a positive learning environment.
