Recruitment Requirements
1. Academic Background
A Bachelor’s degree or above in Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences, or a closely related discipline.
Candidates with a strong academic background from a well-regarded university are preferred.
A Master’s degree or PhD is an advantage.
2. Teaching Experience
Proven teaching experience in IGCSE/A-Level Biology, IB Biology, or AP Biology.
Experience in Project-Based Learning (PBL), with the ability to develop students’ scientific inquiry, independent learning, and research skills through projects and investigations.
Experience working with high-achieving or academically ambitious students is preferred.
Experience in academic enrichment, competition preparation, or Oxbridge/G5 preparation is an advantage.
3. Scientific Reasoning & Problem-Solving Skills
Strong scientific reasoning, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Able to guide students beyond factual knowledge and develop their ability to analyse unfamiliar biological problems, construct logical arguments, and apply scientific concepts in new contexts.
Able to use questioning, discussion, investigation, and experimentation to develop students’ scientific thinking and inquiry skills.
4. English Language Proficiency
Native English speakers are preferred.
Excellent spoken and written English, with the ability to conduct high-level academic discussions in English.
Able to help students develop clear, precise, and structured academic communication.
Able to train students to explain scientific concepts, articulate their reasoning, and communicate their ideas effectively in English.

About Beijing New Talent Academy

Beijing New Talent Academy is a private boarding school with A-level and AP curriculums. It is a K to 12 educational system including Kindergarten, Dragon Bay Kindergarten(off campus), Primary School, Cambridge Center (Middle and High School), AP Center(Middle and High School), Chinese Center, and Art & PE Center. There are about 2500 students whose ages are from 2 to 18, 100 of whom are foreign students, and about 700 teachers and staff, 45 of whom are foreign teachers.
BNTA was founded in 1995 as a K-12 boarding institute.
