Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Provide professional ski instruction on the ski carpet machine to students of all levels, from beginners to advanced skiers.
- Teach fundamental skiing techniques, including stance, balance, turning, stopping, and edging.
- Adjust the speed and incline of the ski carpet machine to match student skill levels and training goals.
- Ensure students develop proper form and technique before transitioning to real snow slopes.
- Assist students with ski equipment fitting and ensure correct usage.
- Maintain strict safety procedures, including proper positioning on the machine and emergency stop protocols.
- Create a fun and engaging learning experience while keeping sessions productive.
- Work with children and adults, adapting teaching methods accordingly.
- Keep the ski carpet machine area clean and organized.
- Report any technical issues with the machine or safety concerns to management.
- Stay updated on indoor ski training methods and best practices.
Sales & Business Development:
- Promote lesson packages, memberships, and related services to clients.
- Achieve individual and team sales targets for ski lessons and programs.
- Upsell additional training sessions, equipment, and academy merchandise.
- Assist in customer inquiries, providing information about lesson structures and pricing.
Operations & Planning:
- Manage lesson bookings, ensuring efficient scheduling and coordination.
- Keep track of student progress and recommend appropriate lesson plans.
- Ensure the training area is organized, clean, and equipment is well-maintained.
- Report technical or safety issues with the ski carpet machine to management.
- Assist in creating seasonal lesson schedules and promotions.
Events & Camps:
- Participate in ski academy events, workshops, and community activities.
- Help organize and lead kids’ camps, ensuring an engaging and educational experience.
- Represent the academy in promotional events and special programs.
