Secondary Economics Teacher
Location: Rabat, Morocco
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time
Our client, a well-established international school in Rabat, is seeking a qualified and experienced Teacher of Economics to join its academic team.
The successful candidate will teach Cambridge IGCSE and A Level Economics within a structured, high-achieving environment that values academic rigor, student engagement, and international perspective.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Economics at IGCSE and A Level (Cambridge International Curriculum).
- Deliver engaging lessons covering microeconomics, macroeconomics, and global economic issues.
- Prepare students thoroughly for Cambridge examinations.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing meaningful feedback.
- Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental collaboration.
- Support the wider life of the school, including extracurricular involvement.
- Uphold safeguarding and pastoral responsibilities.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics or a related field.
- Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- Experience teaching IGCSE and/or A Level Economics.
- Strong subject knowledge and exam preparation experience.
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
- Commitment to student wellbeing and academic excellence.
