About La Cassetta Sull Albero
La Casetta Sull'Albero International School is a fascinating world, with many facets. A Nursery and Preschool with ENGLISH-speaking educators for children from 3 months to 6 years where all activities are carried out in English and according to the Reggio Emilia pedagogical methodology, which originates in the nurseries and preschools of Reggio Emilia. The educators are fluent speakers and the children's day is therefore marked by constant cultural exchange. The educational offer of the Reggio Approach is recognized internationally as one of the most valid in the world and enhances children's rights, intelligence and skills.
La Casetta Sull'Albero International School is the only Roman school to adopt this pedagogy and to have created the environments dedicated to it with the architectural layout and work tools that Reggio Emilia pedagogy requires. Through all this, our children, day by day, acquire an open mindset towards what will be the society of the future and a total mastery of the English language.
La Casetta Sull'Albero International School is also an Atelier where, in the afternoons and on weekends, courses and educational workshops are held regarding art, music, nature, English, yoga and cooking. It is also a place for meetings dedicated to the study of pedagogical and emotional aspects in relation to the child and for the presentation of books intended for children.
Located in a splendid Art Nouveau building, built in the early 1900s in the Trieste district of Rome, it is surrounded by a garden, with flowering and fruit trees that embrace the space dedicated to respect and familiarity with nature, in which gardening workshops are held to raise children's awareness of and respect for the environment according to the eco-sustainable philosophy that is the basis of the school's educational project.
