We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data and Assessment Coordinator to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing assessment systems, analyzing student performance data, supporting academic reporting, and providing accurate data insights to help improve teaching, learning, and student outcomes.
The Data and Assessment Coordinator will work closely with the Principal, Vice Principals, Heads of Department, teachers, and the leadership team to ensure that assessment practices are consistent, reliable, and aligned with school improvement priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate internal and external assessment processes across the school.
- Manage student performance data, assessment records, and academic reporting systems.
- Analyze assessment results and provide clear reports to support academic decision-making.
- Prepare data dashboards, progress reports, attainment reports, and intervention summaries.
- Support teachers and leaders in using data to identify student needs and plan interventions.
- Ensure assessment calendars, deadlines, and procedures are communicated and followed.
- Support standardized testing, benchmark assessments, and inspection-related data requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure data is updated, organized, and confidential.
- Assist leadership in preparing reports for school improvement planning, accreditation, and KHDA requirements.
- Provide training and support to staff on assessment systems, data entry, and reporting expectations.
- Monitor assessment completion, data accuracy, and follow-up actions with relevant teams.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Data Management, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a school data, assessment, academic coordination, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of assessment practices, student progress tracking, and academic reporting.
- Excellent Excel and data analysis skills.
- Experience with school management systems and assessment platforms is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines accurately.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work effectively with academic leaders, teachers, and administrative teams.
- UAE school experience and KHDA inspection experience are preferred.
About Ignite School
Street No. 414, Al Warqa'a 3, DU, AE
Ignite School offers a KG1 to Grade 12, American education experience leading to a High School Diploma for Emirati and expatriate students. The Ignite School curriculum aligns to the New York State Learning Standards, which includes the New York State P-12 Common Core Learning Standards (moving to NYS Next Generation Standards) as well as KHDA guidelines.
Ignite School commenced classes in September 2018 and now has more than 1400 students enrolled for KG1 to Grade 9. We anticipate opening Grades 10 and 11 in 2024/25 followed by Grade 12 in 2025/26 with a capacity for 2,000 Emirati and expatriate students. High School will offer Advanced Placement tracks. We have just achieved NEASC candidacy status and expect full accreditation in 2023/24.
