Job Description
Our school, located in the centre of Dubai in a state-of-the-art building/campus, is seeking to appoint an English/Drama Teacher for April 2025. The candidate needs to be flexible to work both in the junior school (Drama) and senior school (English).
Our approach has been successful, we are exceeding all expectations, and therefore wish and need to appoint a notable number of creative and dedicated teachers and expert practitioners who want to apply their skills in a forward-thinking, creative school where the craft of teaching is highly valued.
English/Drama Teacher - The Position
We are seeking creative and expert practitioners for the role of English/Drama Teacher.
As an IB educator, you must display a clear commitment to developing international mindedness in your classroom and support the development of this across the school. Experience in, or strong knowledge of, a student-centered inquiry-based learning approach is also required. Candidates must have strong interpersonal skills and a track record of building and maintaining close professional relationships, as well as display excellent written and verbal communication skills.
We are looking for experienced teachers with a passion for supporting every child to achieve and develop for learning and developing a classroom environment where every child can succeed. You will be able to teach students of all abilities and demonstrate a proven track record of securing outstanding student outcomes.
You should have experience of the IB programme, albeit not essential, as training will be given. As a practitioner, you should have knowledge and experience in planning rich, engaging, and challenging learning experiences for your students, have a strong knowledge of assessment and its use in the classroom, and most importantly, have a passion to stretch students to achieve their potential and beyond.

Job Requirements
Required Candidate Profile:
- Proficient/advanced-level English language skills
- Bachelor's degree in English/Drama, with a PGCE in Education with QTS or equivalent is required
- A minimum of three years of experience teaching in a reputable school
- A track record of outstanding student results
- Demonstrates professionalism, enthusiasm, commitment, and integrity
- Inter-cultural awareness, well-developed communication skills, and excited to engage with students and parents
