Job Description
We are looking for a English speaker with a Bachelor's Degree in English and at least 3 years of experience to teach IB English A and English B.
As an IB English A and B Teacher at Peterson School, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our students through engaging and innovative teaching methods.
Responsibilities:
- Creating dynamic lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students
- Implementing the IB curriculum effectively and efficiently
- Providing constructive feedback to students to help them improve their English language skills
- Collaborating with fellow teachers to enhance the overall learning experience
- Participating in extracurricular activities and school events

Job Benefits
The employee receives a bonus in December equivalent to 10 days of global compensation, and an additional equivalent bonus in July, plus two bonuses, one per semester based on productivity and performance evaluation.
A mandatory savings plan of 7% of the base salary will be deducted from your compensation, placed in an investment account and matched by the School. The savings and accumulated interest will be given to you in August.
On the tuition side, we provide a 100% discount at the School for the children of our foreign hired faculty (subject to the requirements of the corresponding campus and the admission process).
Benefits include two medical insurance plans, one is with the government and is mandatory by law, the other is a private plan for Major Medical Expenses that is accepted by most doctors and hospitals in Mexico (the School covers the cost of this private plan). You can also include your children, or obtain additional international coverage at your own cost through the School’s plan.

The candidate doesn't need to speak Spanish, but elementary or limited working proficiency in the language would be beneficial, as would the experience of the IB Diploma Programme.

- Evidence of commitment to ongoing professional development, demonstrated through participation in workshops, conferences, and advanced coursework.
