Job Description
We are looking for a passionate ICT Teacher to inspire students and deliver engaging lessons in technology and digital literacy. The role involves teaching programming, web development, media technology, and digital ethics while integrating innovative methods to support student learning.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in ICT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Valid teaching license/certificate.
- Minimum of 2 years of full-time teaching experience (experience in an American curriculum school preferred).
- IELTS/TOEFL certification for non-native English speakers (IELTS 6 for subjects taught in English; 7.5 for English subject).
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Proficiency in IT tools for both productivity and classroom teaching.
- Commitment to continuous professional growth, collaboration, and innovation in teaching.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging ICT lessons across assigned grade levels.
- Teach a wide range of ICT-related topics, including:
- Programming (preferably object-oriented).
- Web development and database management.
- Media technology (Photoshop, InDesign, etc.).
- Networking, computer hardware/software maintenance, and digital ethics.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Use innovative instructional strategies and technology to enhance learning experiences.
- Assess, record, and report on student progress through quizzes, projects, and assignments.
- Support students with academic and personal growth while fostering responsible digital citizenship.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to ensure student success.
- Participate in professional development workshops, school events, and committees.
