Math Teacher (PYP)

Invento the Uzbek International School is a dynamic international school in Tashkent offering international programmes alongside the national curriculum. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Math Teacher (PYP) to join our Primary School team for the 2026–2027 academic year.

This role is ideal for an educator who has a strong background in primary mathematics education and enjoys building students’ confidence, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills in a supportive and engaging learning environment.

About the Role

The Math Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality, age-appropriate mathematics instruction to primary students. The role focuses on developing strong foundational numeracy, mathematical reasoning, and a positive attitude toward learning mathematics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach Mathematics across the Primary Years (PYP)
  • Plan and deliver engaging, student-centered math lessons aligned with curriculum standards
  • Develop students’ numeracy skills, mathematical thinking, and problem-solving strategies
  • Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and ability levels
  • Use a variety of teaching approaches and resources to support conceptual understanding
  • Assess student progress and provide timely, meaningful, and age-appropriate feedback
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and assessments using Toddle
  • Collaborate with homeroom teachers and colleagues to support student learning and development
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress
  • Contribute positively to the school’s academic culture and professional learning community

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, Primary Education, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience teaching Mathematics at the primary level
  • Strong understanding of primary mathematics pedagogy and curriculum
  • Experience working with diverse or multicultural student groups is an advantage
  • Ability to create an engaging, supportive, and structured classroom environment
  • Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills
  • English level: Fluent or near-native
