American STEM Prep, located in the Suji (Yongin) neighborhood of Yongin, South Korea, is seeking qualified and passionate full-time Secondary Teachers (Middle and High School) for the 2026–2027 academic year in the following subject areas:
- English Language Arts (ELA)
- History / Social Studies
- Mathematics
- Science
- Computer Science
- Economics

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons based on American curriculum frameworks (including Common Core where applicable)
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse academic needs of middle and high school students
- Design meaningful assessments and provide timely, constructive feedback
- Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom culture
- Maintain regular communication with students, parents, and school leadership
- Collaborate with colleagues to support interdisciplinary learning and school-wide initiatives
- Support or lead extracurricular activities such as clubs, competitions, advisory, or tutoring programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject area (Master’s degree preferred)
- Valid state teaching certification or eligibility for certification
- Previous experience teaching middle or high school students
- Strong content knowledge and instructional planning skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a professional learning community
Preferred Qualities
- Experience teaching AP, honors, or advanced-level courses (high school positions)
- Experience in STEM-integrated or project-based learning environments
- Familiarity with American college preparatory standards
- International school experience
