Job Description

Primary English & Humanities Teacher (Years 3–6)

We are recruiting a Primary English & Humanities Teacher on behalf of our client, a well-established trilingual international school in Casablanca offering a British curriculum programme.

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching in English and Humanities across Key Stage 2 (Years 3–6), while contributing to a multilingual learning environment that promotes academic excellence, cultural openness, and student wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in English and Humanities in line with the British curriculum.
  • Develop students’ literacy, writing, comprehension, and critical thinking skills.
  • Foster curiosity and global awareness through Humanities subjects (e.g. history, geography, social studies).
  • Support students in a trilingual setting, working collaboratively within a multilingual team.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of a diverse range of learners.
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate academic records.
  • Create a structured, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues and school leadership across year groups.
  • Maintain clear and constructive communication with families.

Candidate Profile

  • Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE/QTS or equivalent) / Bachelors/Masters in Education
  • Experience teaching primary students, ideally within a British or international school setting.
  • Experience teaching English and/or Humanities at Key Stage 2 level.
  • Comfort working in a multilingual / multicultural environment.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to high academic standards, collaboration, and student wellbeing.
  • Native-level English proficiency (essential).
