Job Advert: MYP/DP I&S Teacher
Position: MYP/DP I&S Teacher
Location: Qatar Academy Al Khor / www.qak.edu.qa
Start Date: 01st Aug 2026
We are seeking a passionate and experienced MYP/DP I&S Teacher to join our international school community. The successful candidate will inspire students to develop strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a love for mathematics within the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, inquiry-based I&S lessons aligned with MYP & DP standards.
- Foster critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity in the classroom.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Contribute to curriculum development and interdisciplinary projects.
- Support extracurricular math-related activities and initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum of 5+ years full-time teaching experience in an international school (IB experience preferred).
- 03 Years Full-Time Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, or related field (Master’s degree desirable).
- Teaching certification required.
- Fluent English communication skills are essential.
- Strong classroom management and ability to engage diverse learners.

Educational Assistance* : • Eligible dependent children who are living with their family in Qatar and of 3-18 years of age or in senior year of High School whichever is later up to a maximum of 19 years, including Nursery, Pre-schools or Early Years studying a formal recognized curriculum approved by the Ministry of Education are covered.
• Total eligible children capped at three (3). Eligible staff will have the flexibility to choose between QF schools only.
• The Foundation will cover the following:
• Registration fees, Capital fees and Tuition fees.
• Cost of school charged syllabus books and entrance tests fees.
