About American Academy Casablanca
What started as a dream of our Founder and President Said Kouhaila more than 25 years ago has grown into an extremely high-quality PreK-12th grade school whose graduates go on to attend the world’s best universities, many with scholarships. We have students and teachers from more than 40 countries who make up our community, and we continue to add new offerings and make improvements that better serve our families.
AAC’s approach is founded on two pillars that provide the base of all that we do. As an American school, we emphasize critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Unlike other systems of education, we encourage students to think for themselves and to find the answers they seek on their own, under our guidance. Our children are challenged to go beyond their current abilities and beliefs, to stretch their current understandings, and to grow as scholars and people.
We offer a variety of subjects, but within each, the focus is always on developing our students’ ability to think independently. Along with this, we also stress the importance of character, using our Five Core Values (Integrity, Excellence, Respect, Responsibility, and Compassion) as a foundation to help build thoughtful and kind people to lead the next generation. Our team continually returns to our Values when working with our children, as we feel the heart is as important as the mind.
