About Avalon International School

In Avalon International School we believe a stimulating and supportive environment that encourages the holistic development of our students. Our commitment to excellence in education is reflected in our diverse and culturally rich community.  We prepare our learners for a lifetime of curiosity, creativity, and global citizenship. 

The Avalon International School (AIS), operated by the AVALON International School Foundation, is the first private school based on the Cambridge system in and around Miskolc. 

The primary and secondary school as well as the early years department - opened in September 2019 - provides quality education on about 5,000 square meters. Our students can study in the school department according to the Cambridge method, as we are accredited by Cambridge International.

 The building and equipment of AIS maximally reflect the values ​​represented by the school and meet the aesthetic and technical expectations of the 21st century.

The main goal of Avalon International School is to create a community in which each of our students receives individual attention, in which we can develop their skills, and talents to soar, and in which they receive full support from us to become young people with a responsible international mindset.
