The Early Childhood Art Teacher is a Subject Expert Teacher (SET) who works within a collaborative co-teaching model alongside a Learning Enhancement Teacher (LET). You will leverage the purposefully designed EC classroom to encourage natural curiosity, creation, and questioning in young students.

Instructional Duties:

• Introduce fundamental visual art concepts — including color, line, texture, shape, and form — through hands-on, inquiry-based experiences across various media such as drawing, painting, sculpture, and collage.
• Encourage creative problem-solving and artistic risk-taking through open-ended projects that emphasize process over product.
• Integrate Art History, cultural traditions, and contemporary artists to help children make meaningful connections between art, community, and the world around them.
• Collaborate closely with the LET to differentiate instruction and ensure each child’s artistic, emotional, and developmental needs are met through scaffolded and play-based learning.
• Foster cross-curricular integration by linking visual arts with literacy, science, mathematics, and technology to deepen understanding and creativity.
• Curate and celebrate student artwork through exhibitions and school-wide events, honoring Thai cultural celebrations (e.g., Wai Kru, Songkran) and global artistic traditions.
