Job Description

Foster creativity, self-expression, and appreciation of the arts among students through a comprehensive program by providing a supportive and inspiring environment.

  • Design, implement, and periodically review a comprehensive music and art curriculum that covers music theory, vocal and instrumental performance, visual arts techniques (drawing, painting, sculpting), and art history.
  • Ensure that the curriculum is aligned with national and state educational standards while being dynamic and responsive to student interests and needs.
  • Facilitate hands-on learning opportunities that encourage students to explore and develop their creativity, through individual and group projects, performances, exhibitions, and other artistic endeavors.
  • Create a supportive and inspiring classroom environment where students feel encouraged to take creative risks and express their artistic abilities.
  • Provide high-quality instruction that develops students' technical skills in both music (instrumental and vocal) and visual arts (drawing, painting, sculpting), helping them express their artistic potential and technique effectively.
  • Offer specialized guidance to students based on their levels of proficiency, ensuring that both beginners and advanced students are supported in their growth.
  • Incorporate global perspectives in music and arts education by teaching about diverse artistic traditions and cultural expressions.
