Job Description
American STEM Education is proud to promote and support the hiring for American STEM Prep's 2025-26 school year! American STEM Prep is a new and growing elementary and middle/high school level institution in Gwanggyo New Town (광교신도시), which is a 35-minute metro ride from Gangnam station. Gwanggyo was recently developed as a well-balanced area with natural spaces and modern buildings, so it's a very popular area. Our location is 350 m from Sanghyeon station (Shinbundang line). We are recruiting for the next academic year.
We are looking for lower elementary homeroom teachers to teach in our American-based curriculum, focused on STEM teaching and the Common Core standards. We are fully certified by Cognia Accreditation. We offer a full English immersion school program for our students and we are currently the only school with a Cognia STEM certification in South Korea. We are exceptionally excited this year as we will graduate our first 12th-grade class after just opening 5 years ago! We are looking for educators who are dedicated, curious, and flexible to join our dynamic team!
Candidates currently in Korea and/or F-visa holders are encouraged to apply.
Working conditions and benefits:
Work start date: Aug. 11, 2025
End date: Aug. 15, 2026
Hours: Mon to Fri, 8 am to 5 pm
Classes: maximum of 25 periods of 45 minutes per week, class sizes are 15 students or less
Lead an after-class activity, such as math club, reading club, drama club, science club, yoga, etc. (activities end at 4:25 pm)+

- Starting Salary: 2.8+ mil/month, depending on subject, qualifications, and experience
- Vacation: Winter, 2 weeks; Spring, 1 week; Summer, 4 weeks; plus national holidays

Job Requirements
If you don't possess a teacher's license, you must have the following:
- A Bachelor's in Education and/or a degree closely related to the subject that you will teach.
- Must have a professional level of English
