Additional School Requirements:

10-years’ experience in working in related Institutions at Senior Management Level
Should have a background in Engineering, Math or Science
A clear understanding of the Vocational Education Sector
Strong interpersonal and communication skills in order to establish and maintain business relationships with key stakeholders and customers
Capacity to direct vocational skills analysis with local industry and advisory bodies in order to meet the skills needs of the Abu Dhabi Community
Knowledge of Academic Governance, Educational Institutional Effectiveness, Higher Educational Institute policies, standards, procedures and practices
Strong financial acumen, prior experience with budgets and financial statements
High level understanding and demonstrated cultural awareness and sensitivity to Islamic Culture as exists in the UAE

Job Benefits:

Housing Allowance will be provided ranges from $2,700 - $3,400 USD per month.
Administrative Allowance: 15% of Basic Salary per month.
Relocation Allowance is provided: Approx. $6800 USD
Education Allowance provided to assist with schooling fees in the UAE for dependent children
Flight ticket allowance for employee spouse and up to 3 children.
Medical Insurance for employee, spouse and up to 3 children.

The Director, the academic and administrative leader, has to ensure the establishment and successful operation of the Institute by directing the planning, coordination, implementation, administration of the curriculum, educational management and student wellbeing functions.

As the leading member of the Management Team, the Director conceptualizes and implements strategic plans and provides leadership in establishing and maintaining an educational community of students and staff, with a core responsibility for developing the learning model of independent, life-long learning.
The Director's role is to build the Institute as a leader in education, and to prepare the students for the next generation of growth and innovation.
The Director works with the relevant senior staff to plan, coordinate and initiate business plans and recommends changes.
The Director ensures that policies, strategies and goals are clearly understood by all stakeholders, and facilitates the development, maintenance, and monitoring of curriculum and operational plans so that business and strategic objectives at all levels are achieved at an optimum pace.
The Director directs the efforts of the team under their direction and is responsible for all staff operations.
