  • Engages in personal professional growth and demonstrates professional ethics and leadership.
  • Plans, writes, and implements lessons for the learning needs of all students using varied instructional and learning strategies.
  • Monitors students’ progress and provides immediate feedback to the students and adjusts instructional plans accordingly.
  • Provides whole group, small group, and individual instruction.
  • Prepares materials to create and sustain a positive classroom for children.
  • Prepares bulletin boards or other visual aides to enhance teaching and learning as requested.
  • Collects data, maintains accurate records, and communicates progress with parents as required.
  • Monitors student attendance.
  • Maintains classroom management conducive to productivity.
  • Supervises students at all times.
  • Works collaboratively with other teachers on a daily basis.
  • Performs other duties as requested by ESL Coordinator.
