The Intervention Specialist must have earned at least a Bachelor's Degree and hold specific qualifications in one of the following areas: Special Education, Reading, and English as a Second Language (ESL). They must also hold a valid professional teaching certificate with an appropriate endorsement from a recognized governmental authority. They must have at least two (2) years of professional experience working with students who receive special intervention services.
