Elementary and Middle School English Teacher

About the School:

We are one of the oldest, largest, and most prestigious private schools of Hunan province, with one kindergarten, three elementary schools, and two middle schools. The school was founded by a German Chinese doctor 24 years ago, and now has over 5700 students and 550 faculty members in four campuses in Hengyang City, Hunan province. We are a private, non-profit school with the motto: respect differences, explore potentials, and let every child be their best self.

About the Teaching Position:

The school is now looking to recruit 2 full-time foreign ESL teachers for next term (begin end of August, 2019) at our brand new campus with state of the art facilities (see our brochure attached and school website: www.hyclxx.com). The foreign English teachers are mainly in charge of teaching oral English at our elementary school as well as some classes in the middle school. We are looking for energetic, motivated and talented English teachers who enjoy teaching young students from native English speaking countries who are passionate about teaching in China. Teachers generally teach a maximum of 20 classes per week (35-40 mins per class). They will have a Chinese English teacher as a teaching assistant in every class. Compensation is up to 15,000 RMB/month depending on performance and hours taught, and paid during regular spring and fall school terms (about 10 months/year). Teachers may also choose to join the school’s summer and winter programs, for which they will be compensated additionally. 

We provide visa, accommodation (modern apartment), insurance, travel allowance, and meals for our ESL foreign teachers.
