Qualifications and Skills:

Four-year University teaching degree in Elementary or Junior High Education.
Teaching experience at the Elementary, Junior High, Or High School levels.
Recognized professional teaching certification in Canada or the US.
Proficiency in English with excellent pronunciation.
Ability to teach in a cross-curricular and 21st-century learning environment.
Strong Literacy and Numeracy skills.
Understanding of Career and Technology Foundations.
Experience working with ELL students.
Willingness to contribute to taking an active part in committees, the school community, design teams, and school initiatives.
Teachers are required to have or obtain, an Alberta Teaching License to be eligible for employment.

Job Benefits:

Salary before taxes (including housing) of 4,000-4,500 CAD (will be paid in Mexican pesos)

We use the English language in teaching and as a means of communication within the school at all levels, allowing our students to learn a second language in a similar way to learning their mother tongue.
