Additional School Requirements:

Teachers with kindergarten or elementary school education experience teaching 2 to 6-year-old children in a variety of subjects
Teachers with at least 1 year of teaching experience in a native-speaking country or at least 2 years of work experience as an English teacher in a non-native country
Teachers who are kind, patient, energetic, and enthusiastic
Teachers who like nature and are eager to improve themselves
Teachers who are willing to contribute to children’s development
Teachers who desire to grow with our kindergarten

Job Benefits:

USD $3,200 per month, you may exceed $3,200 dollars a month if you have excellent experiences and performance
After one year of work, if you continue the contract, the salary in the second year can be increased by at least $100 per month
We can assist with working visa in China
Provide economy class round-trip flight ticket to your home country once a year up accommodating up to USD $700
Provide individual apartment room
Provide one year of personal accident insurance
Provide various training opportunities including professional IB curriculum training
Paid winter and summer vacations (4 – 6 weeks of half of monthly salary)

Job Description:

DAE Kindergarten is an international kindergarten and an International Baccalaureate (IB) candidate school located in Changsha City, Hunan, China. Currently, the school consists of 20 staff members and over 50 students, or as we call family members.

Our education philosophy focuses on the interactions between children and nature. The school covers an area of over 10,000 square meters and is surrounded by nature such as forest, lake, and golf course. Most of our courses are held outdoors with activities such as climbing mountains, playing with water and sand, swimming, learning about plants and insects, and other exploratory play. Throughout these activities, staff members are encouraging and enthusiastic building a bond with the children and the kindergarten.

Every morning, we take our children to the fields so they can catch insects, water our plants, and listen to birds singing. The children here are free to explore our lawn finding anything that captivates them. We also often take adventures into the woods, discovering the secrets and collecting leaves, branches, flowers, and grass to design our own handicraft works. Furthermore, we teach our children how to cook so that they learn about appreciating everything they eat.

Our adventures also vary with season. In spring, we sow vegetable seeds and plant them with hope and love. In summer, we swim and play in our own swimming pool and learn about water. In autumn, we sit under the trees and taste our handmade Osmanthus tea and cake to feel the fragrance of fruits. In winter, we make a small bamboo sledge to ski and build snowmen. Regardless of the weather, we do outdoor activities every day to appreciate the beauty of nature.

Lastly, on weekends, we invite our staff and friends to have a barbecue party at the school with a bonfire and games to enrich our family relation.

About the School:

Located next to the picturesque Sun Mountain, DAE International Kindergarten bases our educational philosophy largely on the interactions between nature and our students. We offers a unique and prestigeous learning expierence to our students. DAE is dedicated to cultivating an international outlook and mindset in our students while retaining the inherited essence of traditional Chinese culture. Young students are taught from their first days at our school the importance of respecting cultural diversity while growing to form their own unique viewpoints. DAE emphasizes a learning environment in our classrooms that enables students to become confident, optimistic, inquisitve and knowledgeable individuals.

Our school currently has 20 staff who are mostly bilingual and over 50 students, ranging in age from 2 to 6 year-old. Together we form a supportive and caring big family.

We became an International Baccalaureate(IB) candidate school in May 2020, aiming to bring more professional and international perspectives in our curriculum. With the candidacy, we are also able to cooperate with other IB schools in the world and receive consultation from experienced IB teachers.
