Job Description
Teach in Dubai! Middle School English Teacher required for an immediate start.
Ignite School recruits motivated, dynamic, qualified and experienced international faculty who are best able to engage our students in creative and innovative learning. The staff of Ignite School are themselves supported with a peer-led professional learning community shaped by reflective practice and collaboration.
MUST have the following to be considered:
- US Passport Holder (valid 6 months or greater)
- 2 or more year certified teaching experience in the United States for position applying for
- Bachelor's Degree or Higher
- Current Resume
- 3 Current References to supply if offered a position: one from a direct, current supervisor (Principal, Assistant/Association Principal, Superintendent/Head of School)
- Experience Certificate (if 2 years or more completed at a school in the UAE)
- Preference given to those who currently reside in Dubai or UAE
- COVID Vaccination (proof) or willingness to get vaccinated upon arrival

Job Requirements
- Education Required: Bachelor's Degree
- Major in English
- Valid teacher certification for the subject and level you are being hired to teach
- Candidates holding valid and relevant New York State teacher certification preferred
- 2 years of recent post-certification teaching experience
- Candidates must have experience of teaching in a US district school offering the Common Core State Standards (New York State experience preferred)
- Fluent English speaker

Ignite School offers an American curriculum education from pre-K to Grade 12, leading to a High School Diploma for Emirati and expatriate students in Dubai. Our curriculum is aligned with American learning standards and KHDA expectations, providing students with a strong academic foundation in a student-centered, future-focused learning environment.
