Job Description:

The successful candidate

Will be expected to teach Grades 3, 4 and 5 and MYP classroom music.

The successful candidate should

Contribute to the support of the music program throughout the whole school

The successful candidate must

Be a proficient music teacher
Have a practical working knowledge of the IB Middle Years Progamme
Have a practical working knowledge of Primary School music curricula
Be experienced in ensemble direction
Have a passion for Music in international education
Value the role that music plays in exploring and developing intercultural understanding
Have up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance in relation to working with, and the protection of, children and young people
Display commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children and young people
Value and respect the views and needs of children and young people
Coordinate the after school instrumental music teaching programme
