Special Qualifications:
- The well-qualified candidate will have experience working with adolescent students, a desire to work with students of this age, and the ability to maintain a positive classroom environment.
- The candidate shall also possess experience in test interpretation, the ability to implement IEPs, plan for individual needs, and develop IEPs accordingly. A strong background in math, Reading, and Language Arts is also desired.
- Candidates shall possess the proper certification from WI DPI for Cross Categorical Special Education (801).

The Menominee Indian School District has a full-time itinerant position available for an Early Childhood Special Education teacher at the Menominee Nation Early Childhood Centers, and Keshena Primary School for the 2022-2023 school year.
Responsibilities:
- Instruct, monitor, and adjust teaching activities to assure student achievement; develop curriculum, plan and implement teaching strategies and collaborate with colleagues in a team environment.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and co-workers.
- The successful candidate will provide tolerance, and extend understanding and nurturing to all students.
