Job Description:
Manor Hall International School is seeking a dynamic and innovative ICT (Information and Communication Technology) Teacher to join our team. As an ICT Teacher, you will play a key role in helping students develop essential digital literacy skills and an understanding of technology, which will prepare them for success in a technology-driven world. You will deliver engaging lessons that integrate technology into the curriculum, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills while encouraging creativity and collaboration.

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of ICT concepts, a passion for teaching technology, and the ability to engage students in the effective and responsible use of digital tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging ICT lessons that align with the U.S. curriculum and promote digital literacy.
• Teach students about key concepts in computing, including coding, programming, hardware and software, internet safety, and the ethical use of technology.
• Integrate technology into other subjects and encourage students to use ICT tools for research, collaboration, and creative projects.
• Develop students' problem-solving, computational thinking, and digital skills through hands-on activities and projects.
• Assess student progress through assignments, projects, and assessments, providing feedback to support continuous improvement.
• Foster a safe and responsible digital learning environment by educating students on internet safety, cybersecurity, and online etiquette.
• Stay current with emerging technology trends and incorporate new tools and resources into lesson plans.
• Collaborate with other teachers to enhance cross-curricular integration of ICT and support digital learning across subjects.
• Communicate regularly with parents to update them on student progress and digital learning developments.
